Maybe not with all the same missions or activities, but they’ll be back all the same. But if what Smith was saying is true, these assets, at least some of them, are being “rebuilt” behind the scenes, and they wouldn’t do that if they weren’t planning on reissuing them. That things like Leviathan or Forges or Mercury or Mars will just be locked away indefinitely.
I think most people assume that vaulted content is gone forever. I am taking away two main things from this pretty blockbuster reveal:ġ) The removed content may indeed be back sooner than we think it will. Bungie has not talked about any of this publicly, which has just led the fanbase to wonder why the game is flat-out deleting 40-60% of the game to be “vaulted.”
